A collaboration between Rick Owens and Dr. Martens has been realized.In this collaboration, we chose 1460 which is known as "8 hole shoes" which symbolizes "Dr. Martens" and 1918 which is called "18 hole shoes" as the base model.The 1460 uses soft luna leather for the upper part, and the extra-thick shoe lace and larger eyelets make the design accent.On the other hand, 1918 has an elegant appearance with a combination of hair-on-leather and silver eyelets adopted for the upper part.Both models are equipped with pearl-colored shoe lace, side zip, and quad retro sole, which boasts a height of about 5 centimeters, creating a model with a sophisticated atmosphere while maintaining Rick's dark world view.The collection also features American performance artist Ron Athey (Ron Athey), who explains why he cast Ron:"I've known Ron Athey since the 1980s and I used to meet him at dirty clubs in LA.He was a go-go-boy at Club Fuck and was a big part of the newly born hardcore Pierce Techno subculture scene.Eventually, Ron's dance evolved into his best-known performance art work today.Ron is the most beautiful creature I've ever seen, and I'm afraid I'm completely fascinated by him.This collaboration with Dr. Martens is the best example of how elegant the individual quest for transcendence is."
